Hi, I'm Utsab Panday

Filmmaker and builder

I work in the dark between film sets and code editors building VFX-driven stories, AI tools for Nepali language and culture, and products that didn't exist before I needed them.

Short brief about me

I'm a filmmaker by day, working on Nepali film and television projects — I've been part of well-known titles like Prem Geet, Balidaan, Aaicho Paaicho, Hattichaap, and a few others along the way. Outside of that, I'm pretty much always building something — AI tools, products, whatever idea won't leave me alone. That's kind of why people call me the Batman of Nepal, I work alone, mostly at night, and I'm juggling two completely different worlds at once. Right now I run Dizpair (video content for Nepali businesses), Pixpair (a digital marketplace), The Cinema Nepal (covering Nepali film and entertainment), and LipiConverter (a Nepali text conversion tool a lot of people use monthly). At the core of it all, I just like turning ideas into things that actually work, whether that's a shot on screen or a tool people open every day. Learn more
